The practice is fortunate in having a registered Charitable Amenity Fund. This is used to provide extra items for the Practice that are not normally available through the NHS.
Over the years it has funded items such as:
- Defibrillators for each surgery
- Bladder scanners for the District Nurses
- Intelligent ECG machines
- Teleinfo screens in the waiting rooms
In addition, items for loaning to patients have included BP monitors and nebulisers. These patient items are loaned at no charge and the fund trustees ask that they are returned promptly so other patients can benefit.
